The Trial was an experimental Television experiment where the creators staged a “real “Murder and let the course of natural justice take course with real police officers, forensics and then a trial in front of a real jury to come to a verdict. Once the verdict was agreed the Art Department then had to recreate the missing drama elements leading up to and throughout the trial. Directed by Nick Holt and Produced by Kath Mattock the Trial was recorded in real real time using 64 cameras set up throughout the courtroom and court to record everything taking place.
